The purpose is to investigate the distribution of cases of deposits of ice and dangerous (nya) and spontaneous (soil) on the territory of Ukraine in the conditions of the modern climate.

Method. The study used a mapping method, methods of comparison, analysis and synthesis, the method of generalization.

. The results of the study of the temperature regime in the months of the ice period (I, II, III, IV, X, XI, XII i), as well as the fields of deposits of ice, including the categories of dangerous and spontaneous during the ice age of 2001-2015 in the territory of Ukraine, are presented.

Scientific novelty. Positive temperature anomalies for the entire period as a whole were detected, as well as certain months of the ice age in which the most significant warming occurred - is January, March and November. The most significant areas of ice deposits are determined in separate regions, and the areas that are under their greatest influence are established.

Practical significance. The results of the study can be used in planning the production process, which depends on the climatic features of the territory, since the climatic changes are not synchronous both in time and in space, so it is advisable to conduct regional research. In addition, the losses that arise substantially affect the production process itself and significantly increase the estimated cost of production for the end user.
