STAFF TRAINING FOR TOURIST INDUSTRY IN MONTENEGRO

Objective. The main objective of the article consists in a disclosure of prerequisites, factors, and features of training of specialists in the field of tourism in Montenegro.

Methodology. The analysis, comparative method, historical method, systematic approach, and other were used as research methods.

Results. As a result of the research such basic points are analyzed: the main directions of higher educational institutions in the field of Tourism in Montenegro in the context of its government’s determination of tourism as a priority sector of the economy; the factors of providing the tourism industry with skilled staff that meet the requirements of modern industry development in the Southeast Europe.

Scientific novelty. The main educational institutions for staff training for the tourism industry in Montenegro were determined; the features of tourism education in this Balkan country were defined.

Practical significance. An effective system of staff training in the field of Tourism and Hotel Business in Montenegro, which has shown good results in the reforming process of the economy in the direction of the tourism industry development in the last two decades, causes interest of international investors to devote money in this particular branch of the economy. Therefore, the experience of training staff for the tourism industry in this Balkan country should be used in Ukraine as a promising region for the tourism development in Eastern Europe.
