CURRENT FEATURES AND TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT WORLD HOTEL INDUSTRY

Goal. The purpose of the article is to identify the main modern features and trends of the hotel industry in the world according to socio-economic, political, technical and technological preconditions.

Method. The study uses a set of methods: literary, statistical, method of analyzing the Internet sites of companies-experts in the hospitality market, as well as methods for synthesis and analysis of the collected material.

Results. The main features, modern features and trends of the hotel industry development in the global and macro-regional aspects are described in detail.

Scientific novelty. For the first time, the complex of the hotel industry characteristic of the world of contemporary peculiarities of development has been revealed, the global and regional economic indicators of the development of this sphere of economy are described.

The practical significance of the research is determined by its relevance for teaching the master's level disciplines, taking into account the professional training of specialists in hotel and restaurant business and tourism.
