 METHODOLOGY OF GEOSYSTEM ANALYSIS OF GEOPOLITICAL DEMENTION OF TOURISM

 The purpose of the article is to construct a methods of system analysis of the geopolitical dimension of international tourism.

The research methodology consists in studying the main directions and principles of system approach application in geography. Geography, which object is an integrated geosystem of a global scale, is above all adapted to the implantation and active applying of the system approach. The transition to the post-neoclassical stage of geography development is characterized by an increase in interdisciplinary research, the methodological basis of which is the theoretical synthesis, and objects - the territorial organization of the interaction of the integral geosystem' components.

Results. Tourism is an essential part of the life of a modern person, has a mutually related impact on the natural environment, economy and politics. A comprehensive study of tourism, its geopolitical dimension in particular, requires usage of system approach. Geographical system of tourism appears as an element of a territorial socio-economic system and actively interacts with other components of the integrated geosphere. The system approach has a significant prognostic potential for the disclosure of mechanisms and principles of interaction between tourism and the political sphere of society.

The novelty of the approach is to determine general principles and mechanisms for analyzing the mutual influence of tourism and politics. In particular, it is proposed to consider the territorial-political system as an element of the external environment of the tourism system. To substantiate the particular parameters of the influence of political processes and phenomena on the development of tourism, it makes sense to construct inter-system links on different levels of research: global, national, and regional.

The practical aspect of the research allows us to identify the most significant factors of the political sphere to justify the geopolitical risks of tourism. It also the possibilities of using tourism as an element of the "smart power" of the state are revealed. The study is important for Ukraine, as the national tourism system develops under conditions of geopolitical turbulence caused by an unresolved military-political conflict with the Russian Federation.
