SCIENTIFICALLY-CREATIVE WORKS of DEPARTMENT of INTERNATIONAL TOURISM of KNUCA: ON THE EVE OF a 20 SUMMER ANNIVERSARY

Purpose. The main purpose of the paper is to identify and systematize previously unknown information about the history of creation, scientific, project, educational activity and the present of the Department of International Tourism of the Faculty of Hotel-Restaurant and Tourism Business of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts for 20 years (1997-2017).

Methods. During writing, the following research methods were used: comparative analysis, historical, statistical.

Results . A step-by-step, complex analysis with the provision of separate elements for the study of theoretical, scientific-applied and methodological characteristics for raising the professional and scientific level of professional activity of the scientific-pedagogical staff of the Department of International Tourism, aimed at obtaining general and professional competencies for ensuring competitiveness in the modern tourist market of the country.

Scientific novelty . In the form of an analytical review, a step-by-step annual analysis, which consists in disclosing the history of the formation and present of the Department, systematically and comprehensively discloses information on scientific, educational, project and creative activity, analyzes the factors that determine the vector of the mission implementation of the Department of International Tourism of the Faculty of Hotel and Restaurant and the tourist business of Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts.

The practical significance. The obtained results can be used by scientists, teachers, students during the writing of a bibliographic and analytical review with the further use of bibliographic reference and a systematic list of the main scientific and creative work of the pedagogical staff of the Department of International Tourism of the Faculty of Hotel-Restaurant and Tourism Business of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts.
